Virtual State Convention

The State Convention is coming soon! If you are interested in competing in ANY category or taking one of the academic tests, please email Mrs. Kline (pkline@ccps.us) or Mrs. Kelly (kkelly@ccps.us) as soon as possible. Registration is $25, and is due next week!

2020-2021 National Beta Club SCHOLARSHIP

12th grade Senior Beta members are eligible to apply for a National Beta Scholarship.

Selection of National Beta Scholarship winners is based on a number of factors, with an emphasis on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, commendable character, school and community service, as well as participation in National Beta Club activities.

Application deadline is 11:59 pm EST, January 21, 2021

Leadership Summit 2020

Congratulations to Megyn McCoy who will represent CHS as one of two Virginia Leadership Representatives. Megyn had her interview earlier this month and crushed it!!!

The dynamic duo of Emily Hart and Zaniya Monroe entered the Lead Outside the Box category. The two of them worked hard and turned in a great presentation! (We’re are still awaiting the results!)

Everyone who signed up to “attend” Leadership virtually should have received a link via Remind to tune in at 6 PM on 11/11 to see the one and only TED!!!!! “See” you there!

At the Virginia Senior Beta Convention in Hampton, VA, you guys were amazing!  Congratuations to everyone who participated in a test, competition or skit.  You all worked incredibly hard, and it showed!

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you who attended the VA Beta Leadership Summit. Many stepped out of their comfort zone and competed. Everyone joined in the fun during the sessions. (Did you see us on Ted Weise’s Instagram?!?!!)
